Hearing a story told around a campfire, a child loses himself in the illusory forest of his imagination. In the shadows of this dreamworld he meets a mysterious figure who bestows upon him a gift of perilous proportions. This abstract reinterpretation of the Promethean Myth grows out of the landscape of the La Cloche Mountains in Northern Ontario. It experiments with elements of horror, mythology, and nature film to transform the Northern Ontario landscape into a cosmically haunted place.

This film uses the LaCloche Mountain Range as the setting for a mystical landscape lost to time. A young boy, hearing a story told around a campfire, loses himself in the fantastical scenery of his imagination. In the dark recesses of this dreamworld he receives the gift of fire from a mysterious trickster figure in the forest. The film is an abstract retelling of the Promethean Myth, recontextualizing humanity's relationship with fire and destruction. It functions as an experimental nature film wherein the Northern Ontario landscape becomes a supernatural place of haunting proportions.
