Playhouse
This playhouse was designed to encourage exploratory learning through play as a permanent feature at a local
daycare. The framework of
the structure encourages crawling and climbing to develop spatial
awareness and motor skills. Colourful fabric was stretched
across specific apertures to create drum skins that produce sounds
of varying pitch, correlating to the frequencies associated with
additive colour theory, encouraging the development of synesthesia.
